By registering for, paying for or using any course, or by using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our courses.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

- Receive your certificate of completion via email.
The course content, exam and certificate of completion are delivered electronically.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase a course. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you register, and to keep your account details, including your email address, up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Course access is for the individual who purchased it and may not be shared, transferred or resold.
Pricing and payment
The price of each course is shown on our website at the time of purchase. Payment is taken at the time of registration through our third-party payment processor. By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
We may change our prices from time to time, but changes will not affect a purchase you have already completed.
Course access and delivery
Once your payment has been received and confirmed, you will be given access to the course content. We aim to make the course available promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and may carry out maintenance or updates from time to time.
Certificate of completion
On successful completion of the course modules and exam, you will receive a certificate of completion by email to the address associated with your account.
The certificate confirms that you have completed the SafetyCerts.ie Manual Handling course and exam. It is your responsibility, and where relevant your employer’s responsibility, to determine whether this online course and certificate meet any specific legal, regulatory or workplace requirements that apply to you. Depending on your role and circumstances, a practical, in-person or supervised assessment may also be required in order to fully satisfy workplace health and safety obligations in Ireland. The course is provided as theoretical training and awareness and is not a substitute for any practical assessment that your situation may require.
Cancellation, cooling-off and refunds
Under EU consumer law, where you buy from us as a consumer at a distance you ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel.
Because our courses are supplied as digital content and online services that you can access immediately, you will be asked to consent at checkout to immediate access and to acknowledge that, once you begin the course, you lose your 14-day right to cancel. Where you have given that consent and begun the course, no refund is due under the cooling-off right.
If you have purchased but not yet begun a course, you may contact us within 14 days to request cancellation and a refund.
Outside of these rights, refunds are at our discretion. If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing or completing a course, please contact us at info@safetycerts.ie and we will try to resolve it.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
